DAVID CARABOTT
DIRECTOR

David graduated from Melbourne University in 1991. Founding the practice in 1999, which later became Carabott Holt (CH) Architects. Since it’s establishment, David has taken a lead creative role in many of the practices’ challenging projects. His particular interests include; urban design and master planning, cost effective construction techniques and sustainable design. David offers a personal level of service with vast experience in the industry. He is a member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, and a registered architect in the states of Victoria, NSW, and Tasmania

MICHAEL HOLT
DIRECTOR
B.Arch (Hons) B.PD M.UD

Michael has been a director of CH Architects since 2002 and has worked on many of the key projects of the practice, applying his expert knowledge of urban design principles into the master planning of projects. Michael has a keen interest in sustainable design. Michael’s achievements include first prize in the Urban Design Competition for Circular Quay Sydney, NSW including the redesign of the areas around Circular Quay Railway Station with a new plaza area and retail activities.

IVAN TURCINOV
DESIGN DIRECTOR
B.Arch (Hons) RMIT

Ivan Turcinov joined CH Architects originally as a Senior Design Architect but was promoted to Design Director shortly thereafter due to his wealth of knowledge and experience. He has considerable expertise from design conceptualisation through to building completion. His curriculum vitae is a proven example of his involvement in influential large sites and complex programs. Ivan’s experience is spread across architectural, urban design, interior design, and academic disciplines bringing a comprehensive approach to project designs. In conjunction with practicing architecture, Ivan has taught and assessed in architectural design in several leading universities.
